The Foundation is a 501 (c) (3), non-profit charity founded in 1997. Its mission is to help you in your duty to share the Gospel message, and in your duty to perform the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. The foundation recognizes our Lord's warning that "unless you change and become like little children, you shall not enter the Kingdom of God".
The Foundation acts as a catalyst to demonstrate that normal, sports-loving, everyday guys and gals can grow in holiness and not be embarrassed to do it. The Foundation's specific goal is to get as many people as possible to make their consecration to God through God's Mother and our Mother, who was the perfect imitator of God. This consecration unleashes a very special grace on the individual who makes it. The Foundation is now the largest provider of free consecration materials in the world through its Friends of Our Lady Apostolate run by Patricia Sohm and Jan Ellis Duncan.
The Foundation has many outstanding short booklets and tapes on spiritual issues that it distributes for free to anyone (world-wide) who asks for them. The Foundation works with many groups and Parishes throughout the USA to distribute materials in bulk. The Foundation also provides financial support to a Christian group that builds homes for poor people, who don't have a home, through its "Homes for the Homeless" division. These homes are built in South America and Jamaica.
At this time in history, only one-third of the world's population is Christian! About 16% of the world's population is Catholic Christian. Only about 3 in 10 Christians practice their faith on a regular basis, and keep the Sabbath holy by worshipping God.
The American culture has become so anti-God and so anti-Christian primarily because so few good people, especially Catholic leaders, have not become involved by charitably speaking out and by sharing and defending the Gospel message. Many have become caught up in the quest for money and material possessions, ignoring our Lord's warning: "What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, but loses his soul".
The Foundation primarily focuses on Catholics and other Christians who've heard the Gospel message, but for whatever reason have rejected it, or don't take it seriously. These people are most in jeopardy of losing their eternal salvation. Here it what some of the greatest saints have said about the critical importance of this duty of every baptized Christian:
St. Francis Assisi: "Nothing is more important than the salvation of souls."
St. John Chrysostom: "There is no service more agreeable to God than helping to save souls. To employ one's life in this blessed labor is more pleasing to God than to suffer martyrdom!"
St. Therese of the Child Jesus: "We have only short moments of this life to work for God's glory. Oh, let us not waste time in useless things! Let us save souls!"
St. John Eudes: "The task most pleasing to God that you could do on earth is to labor with Him for the salvation of souls".
St. Rose of Lima: "Know that the greatest service that man can offer to God is to help convert souls."
Through its booklets and tapes, the Foundation has reached over 300,000 people, of whom almost 200,000 have pledged to turn their lives over to God completely. We have reached people in 66 countries and have active volunteers in 35 countries. The Foundation also has an active prison ministry working with about 5 prisons in the USA. Many people's lives have been dramatically changed due to the work of the Foundation.
